How to use Job Hunter
A quick walkthrough to get you finding jobs in minutes
1
Add countries you want to search in
Click 🌍 Countries in the filter panel. Each country needs a LinkedIn GeoId a unique number that tells LinkedIn which region to search. You can find it by searching on LinkedIn and checking the URL for geoId=…. Mark your home country as Local so the tool knows where you already live.
2
Create keyword categories (types)
In the Keywords panel, first add categories to organize your searches for example Backend , Frontend , DevOps. These become color-coded filter pills so you can quickly focus on one area at a time.
3
Add job title keywords
Then add actual job titles or search phrases e.g. Python Developer , Data Engineer. Assign each to a category. Each keyword × each country = one search card. So 5 keywords × 7 countries = 35 ready-to-open searches.
4
Use filters to narrow results
Use the filter panel to narrow by time range, work type (remote, hybrid, on-site), or Easy Apply. Filter by country or keyword type to focus on specific cards. Active filters are shown as tags below the panel.
5
Understand Visa Sponsorship mode
Toggle 🌍 Visa Mode to append "visa sponsorship" to your searches this surfaces jobs that explicitly mention visa support. In 🌍 Countries, mark each country where you're authorized to work (your home country or any country where you hold a work permit). Those countries will search without "visa sponsorship" appended.
💡 Example: You're Egyptian, applying to Germany and UK. In 🌍 Countries, mark 🇪🇬 Egypt as Authorized. Then enable Visa Mode. Egypt will search normally Germany and UK will search for visa-sponsored roles.

Open searches desktop vs mobile
On desktop: select cards and click Open Selected ↗ , or Open All ↗ to open everything at once. Your browser may block pop-ups the first time allow them when prompted (the banner at the top guides you). On mobile: every link opens in the LinkedIn app. Clicking Open All ↗ will launch the app once per search which can be overwhelming.
Desktop tip: use the Tab Speed slider to control how fast tabs open. On mobile, tap Open ↗ on individual cards rather than using Open All ↗ it's a much smoother experience.
Mobile notice: There is no Open All ↗ or Open Selected ↗ on mobile, as every link opens in the LinkedIn app one by one. Tap each Open ↗ button to open them at your own pace.

Save your setup
Your keywords and countries auto-save in your browser. But if you want a shareable, portable version, click Save and Download it downloads a copy of this HTML with all your settings baked in. Open that file in any browser and everything will be there.
The .bat (Windows) and .sh (Linux/macOS) downloads create scripts that open all links one by one in your browser great when pop-ups are blocked. Run chmod +x linkedin_search.sh first on Linux/Mac.
Notice: Pop-up Blocker Info
If pages do not open automatically, your browser is blocking pop-ups. Look for a "Pop-up blocked" icon in the address bar at the top of your browser window. Click that icon, select the option to always allow pop-ups from this site, and click Done. Once allowed, trying again will open all your links correctly.
